Pain & Injury Procedures.
Targeted, image-guided treatments to help manage pain and support recovery.
What are image-guided procedures?
Using ultrasound or CT guidance, our team can precisely target the exact area causing pain or requiring treatment — improving accuracy, effectiveness and recovery time compared to non-guided procedures.
Procedures we offer
Joint injections for arthritis (steroid and Euflexxa)
Bursitis and tendinitis
Nerve blocks
Spinal injections for back pain and sciatica
Prolotherapy for injury and chronic pain
Image-guided biopsies
Ultrasound-guided cannulation for iron infusion and other therapies
How to prepare
Preparation varies by procedure. Please let us know about any blood-thinning medication, allergies (particularly to local anaesthetic or contrast), or previous reactions to injections when you book. Specific instructions will be provided ahead of your appointment.
What to expect
Your procedure will be performed by our radiologist using real-time imaging to guide precise placement. Most procedures are done under local anaesthetic and take between 5 and 15 minutes.
After your procedure
You'll usually be able to go home shortly afterwards. We'll provide clear aftercare instructions, including what to expect over the next 24–48 hours and when to contact us or your doctor.
