X-ray Imaging.

Quick, walk-in-friendly imaging for bones, joints and chest conditions.

What is an X-ray?

An X-ray uses a small amount of radiation to produce images of bones and some soft tissues. It's one of the fastest and most common forms of diagnostic imaging, often used to investigate injuries, joint pain, and chest conditions.

What it's used for

  • Suspected fractures or breaks
  • Joint pain or arthritis
  • Chest infections or breathing issues
  • Pre-surgical assessment
  • Monitoring healing after an injury

How to prepare

There's generally no special preparation required. Wear loose, comfortable clothing without metal zips or buttons where possible, and remove jewellery near the area being examined.

What to expect

X-rays are quick — most appointments take just a few minutes. You'll be positioned by our radiographer, asked to stay still for a moment while the image is taken, and that's it. Painless and non-invasive.
